

FLOOR STAFF HOUSE RULES
Uniform and Identification
All staff members are required to wear the provided uniform and display their ID badge visibly at all times during duty.
Alertness and Proactivity
Staff members are expected to remain alert and proactive, especially during quieter periods, to attend to any potential needs or emergencies promptly.
Communication of Concerns
Staff members are encouraged to communicate any concerns or issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Tattoo Cover-Up
Staff members with visible tattoos on their arms are required to wear arm warmers to cover them during duty hours.
Headphone Usage
The use of headphones is prohibited while on duty to ensure staff members remain attentive and responsive.
Fall or Emergency Protocol
In the event of witnessing a fall or spotting a resident on the floor, staff members must immediately notify the Medtech without touching the client.
Conflict Resolution
Any problems or concerns regarding caregivers should be reported immediately to the Medtech or nurse. Avoid engaging in arguments or conflicts with fellow staff members.
Punctuality and Communication
Staff members must notify the administration promptly if running late to ensure appropriate arrangements can be made.
Break Policy
Staff members are reminded to take a 30-minute break and a separate 10-minute break, without combining them. Inform the Medtech when taking breaks to maintain accountability.
Respect for Residents' Food
Staff members should refrain from consuming residents' food, even if offered.
Equipment Return
Keys and radios must be returned to the Medtech upon completion of duties.
Productivity
Staff members are encouraged to remain productive even after completing tasks, avoiding idle time.
Break Reporting
Inform the Medtech when taking the allotted 30-minute break to ensure coverage and prevent extended absence.
Assistance with Transfers
When assisting with transfers involving two staff members, cooperation and teamwork are required to ensure the safety of both residents and staff.
Cell Phone Usage
Cell phone usage is restricted during duty hours. Phones must be set to silent or vibrate mode to minimize disruptions.
